- Represented borrowers in a successful $26.75M re-financing (via a conduit loan) for a notable strip center in Napa, California;
- Represented a borrower in a successful $15M re-financing (via a conduit loan) for a 160 multi-family unit in Chico, California;
- Represented sports agent in high-profile trade secrets lawsuit, obtaining $44.6 million jury verdict;
- Obtained summary judgment for large pharmaceutical company in employment law action, which was affirmed on appeal in Russo v. Sanofi-Aventis, 2014 Cal. App. Unpub. Lexis 2277 (2014);
- Obtained judgment on the pleadings for an international shipping company, resulting in dismissal of the plaintiffs’ class action claims;
- Obtained reversal on appeal of judgment entered in a contract dispute, which resulted in a published opinion in Newport Beach Country Club, Inc. v. Founding Members of Newport Beach Country Club, 140 Cal. App. 4th 1120 (2006);
- Represented the prevailing plaintiff against defendants’ efforts to discharge his $6 million claim in bankruptcy proceedings and then secured favorable settlement terms;
- Represented insurance policyholder, a large non-profit organization, in complex insurance litigation related to earthquake damage and secured favorable settlement terms;
- Represented a borrower in connection with a complex loan defeasance transaction;
- Represented a large Arizona-based technology company in regards to its large commercial loan restructuring with its institution lender;
- Represented creditors in connection with the filing of an involuntary bankruptcy and various other bankruptcy adversary proceedings for non-dischargeability;
- Represented a master real estate developer in the construction, development and financing of a full service 18-hole golf course (with banquet facilities) in South Orange County, California;
- Formed and organized numerous joint ventures, partnerships and limited liability companies for clients in regards to new business start-up ventures;
- Represented shareholders in multiple business disputes and shareholder buy-outs;
- Represented a real estate developer in a bankruptcy filing under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code;
- Represented a number of start-ups from formation stages to early stage growth to subsequent early financing and fund raising rounds;
- Negotiated a $5.7 million settlement for our client, a large commercial real estate company, which had sustained significant property damage to 16 of its commercial buildings. The settlement was reached after we had filed suit and litigated the matter in federal court.

- Successful Demurrer on behalf of employees of a restaurant who had unsuccessfully sued their employer for wage and hour violations and after losing were sued with their prior lawyers for malicious prosecution;
- Represented client with $12,000,000 acquisition of Shopping Mall in West Palm Beach, FL;
- Represented client with $6,700,000 acquisition of Shopping Mall in City of Industry, CA;
- Represented client with $6,400,000 acquisition of Shopping Mall in Las Vegas, NV;
- Represented client with acquisitions of nightclubs in Anaheim, CA; Santa Ana, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; Dallas, TX; New York, NY; and
- Obtained Conditional Use Permits for nightclubs in Los Angeles, CA and Van Nuys, CA.
